A loop trekking tour crossing the Pale di San Martino group, from the valleys up to its ridges and across the largest plateau in the Dolomites, staying overnight in traditional mountain huts and either accompanied by a trekking guide or hiking independently.

Duration

Suitable for

Hikers in good physical condition, able to walk average daily ascents of +800 m. and an average distance of 10–12 km per day, on trails that may cross different types of terrain (rocky paths, scree, meadows, snowfields, etc.). Some sections are equipped with fixed ropes, steps, or metal cables, to be tackled without special equipment, and require prior experience and a steady foot; not recommended for those who suffer significantly from vertigo.

Trekking tour with overnight stays in mountain huts or small hotels, organized on a self-guided basis or accompanied by a hiking guide.

  • Trekking tour exploring the Pale di San Martino area, in the heart of the San Martino di Castrozza Dolomites.
  • Routes along hiking trails, with some EE sections equipped with fixed ropes, forming a loop among the peaks that made the history of Dolomite climbing.
  • A Dolomites trekking experience with not overly long stages, leaving time to enjoy relaxation, wide panoramas, and the stunning natural landscapes along the trails.
  • Overnight stays and meals in traditional alpine huts between 1500 m and 2500 m, to fully experience Dolomite hospitality and traditional cuisine.
  • With the accompaniment of our expert local guide or independently, with itinerary descriptions, maps, and GPS points.
