Suitable for experienced and physically fit hikers capable of tackling daily hikes of approximately 6-7 hours per day with the elevation gains indicated in the itinerary, including sections of EE difficulty and/or equipped with chains and fixed ropes. The program can be customized according to your experience and fitness level.

Best time

From mid July to mid August. From mid-June to mid-July, it is still possible to encounter snow on the higher mountain passes. Therefore, we recommend the use of crampons and an ice axe.

A backpacking journey spanning 54 spectacular kilometers through the high Val Masino in Valtellina, amidst wild valleys and granite mountains, descending into Valmalenco.
Walk between passes and valleys at altitudes ranging from 2500 to 3000 meters, with breathtaking views of towering rock formations reaching towards the sky, such as Ligoncio, Pizzo Badile, Pizzo Cengalo, Cima di Zocca, Cima di Castello, and the imposing Monte Disgrazia.
