Group Tour: Monviso Summit Climb
The normal route on the Monviso peak (3.841 m.), the highest mountain in Graie Alps. Two days of mountaineering in an amazing landscape with an expert alpine guide and overnight stay in a welcoming mountain hut!

Expert, well trained hikers with experience of off-trail routes, easy climbing passes and routes fitted with cables. It is necessary not to have vertigo issues and to be used to long slopes. For other routes, rock climbing and/or mountaineering experience is required. The program can be customized according to your experience and fitness level.

Tour type
Mountaineering summit climb with an expert Alpine Guide and overnight stay in a cozy mountain hut.
- The via normale route of Monviso: a real mountaineering experience (PD - on rocks): great lenght, altitude gain, high altitude and exposed passages, yet without technical difficulties (max grade II).
- A mountaineering ascent suitable also for beginners, with a really good fitness level and previous previous hiking experience on exposed trails and some rocky sections.
- Mountaineering experience with our expert Alpine Guides, to conquer the summit at 3.841 m.!
- If the standard climb to the summit is not enough for you, it is possible to reach the Monviso summit through other routes
- Overnight at the wonderful Rifugio Quintino Sella mountain hut with half board accommodation and packed lunch in the summit day.
- On request, customize the Monviso summit climb program combining other outdoor activities and tours

Arrival at Pian del Re - hike to rifugio Quintino Sella - meeting with the Guide, accommodation at the hut
Day 2
Monviso summit climb and return on the same way to Pian del Re, departure
Monviso - Rifugio Quintino Sella - dormitory or 4-6 bed room
- Certified English speaking Alpine Guide and their expenses (other languages available on request)
- 1 overnight stay in mountain hut
- Dinner and breakfast at the mountain hut (beverages for dinner to be paid on spot)
- Shared mountaineering equipment: rope and other safety gear

- Meals not listed in the detailed itinerary
- All bevereages, except for tea and coffee for the included breakfast
- Mountaineering equipment rental: harness, crampons and ice axe
