Duration

from 4 to 8 days

Suitable for

Hikers in good health, capable of walking on paths with an average elevation gain of +/- 1,200 m and length of 13-18 km a day, on mountain trails without equipped sections, but which can cross various types of terrain (rock, scree, grass, snowfields, etc.).
The Rimpatrio dei Valdesi trekking program can be customized to your level upon request.

Best time

From mid-July to mid-September.
From mid-June to mid-July, and from late August to mid September, it is still possible to find snow on the highest passes; therefore we recommend using lightweight crampons and trekking poles.

Tour type

Trekking tour with overnight stays in mountain huts or small hotels, organized on a self-guided basis or accompanied by a hiking guide. Required transportation is included with private vehicles, and luggage transport is available upon request for some stages.
