A great hiking tour on the Kings' Trail in the Maritime Alps, also known as the Dolomites of Piedmont, through Alpine lakes and peaks with maps and GPS tracks or with our expert hiking guides.

Duration

4 days

Suitable for

Hikers in good health, capable of walking at least 6 hours a day, with an average elevation gain of +/- 1,000 m, on mountain trails with loose dirt and/or rocky surfaces, sometimes snow-covered depending on weather conditions. The Alpi Marittime trekking program can be customized to your level upon request.

Best time

From mid-June to mid-September. From mid June to mid July snow can be present on high passes, hence the use of crampons and hiking poles is recommended.

Tour type

Trekking tour with overnight stays in mountain huts, organized on a self-guided basis or accompanied by a hiking guide. Required transportation is included with private vehicles.

Day 1

Arrival in Sant’Anna di Valdieri (963 m), trek to the Dante Livio Bianco Hut (1890 m).

Day 2

Trek from Dante Livio Bianco Hut (1890 m) to Colle della Paur (2890 m) and on to Emilio Questa Hut (2389 m).

Day 3

Trek from Emilio Questa Hut (2389 m) to Colletto del Valasco (2423 m), then down to Gias della Casa (1795 m), and finally up to the Remondino Hut (2464 m).

Day 4

Trek from Remondino Hut (2464 m) to Colle du Ghillè (2639 m), then descend to Gias della Casa (1795 m), followed by a transfer to Sant’Anna di Valdieri and departure.
