Duration

from 3 to 4 days

Suitable for

Hikers in good health, capable of walking at least 6 hours a day, with an average elevation gain of +/- 1,000 m, on mountain trails with loose dirt and/or rocky surfaces, sometimes snow-covered depending on weather conditions. The Monviso tour trekking program can be customized to your level upon request.

Best time

From mid-June to mid-September.
From mid-June to mid-July, it's possible to find snow on the higher passes, hence the use of crampons and hiking poles is recommended.

Tour type

Trekking tour with overnight stays in mountain huts, organized on a self-guided basis or accompanied by a hiking guide. Required transportation is included with private vehicles, and luggage transport is available upon request for some stages.
