For hikers without cardiovascular or respiratory problems, with little or no experience on glaciers but who want to approach their first high-altitude climbs. The perfect way to train for alpine climbs, like Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso, Breithorn and Punta Giordani.
Best time
From mid-March to mid-October. Possible also in other periods of the year depending on climatic and environmental conditions.
Tour type
One-day glacier training with an expert mountain guide.
- A day on the Mont Blanc glacier, surrounded by the peaks that have made mountaineering history!
- Learn to move safely on the glacier, using crampons and ice axe, and mastering basic rope techniques.
- Accompanied by an expert Mountain Guide for a day of mountaineering practice aimed at learning amidst the spectacular seracs, crevasses, and granite spires of the Mont Blanc glacier.
- Ride up the spectacular Skyway cable car to the Torino Hut, with breathtaking views of the Aosta Valley Alps.
- On request, customize the Mont Blanc mountaineering training day combining other outdoor activities and tours.

meeting with the Alpine Guide in Courmayeur, cable car to Punta Helbronner and mountaineering lesson
- Certified English speaking Alpine Guide and their expenses (other languages available on request)
- Skyway cable car tickets, Courmayeur-Punta Helbronner round trip
- Private transfers to/from the starting point
- Meals and bevereages
