For hikers without cardiovascular or circulatory problems, with little or no experience in via ferratas, snow, and rocky terrain requiring easy climbing steps.

Best time

From mid-March to mid-October.
Possible also in other periods of the year depending on climatic and environmental conditions.

Tour type

One-day training on via ferrata, rocky terrain, and snowy conditions with an expert Alpine Guide.

  • A day in roped party on rocky terrain for beginners, in the wild valleys of Piedmont.
  • Learn how to move safely on via ferrata, snowfields, and easy rock climbing passages.
  • Accompanied by an expert Alpine Guide for a day of exercises aimed at training on educational terrain preparatory to climbing Monviso.
  • A first approach to mountaineering, designed for beginners who want to assess their suitability for the Monviso summit climb.
