Duration

from 4 to 6 days

Suitable for

Trail runners or highly experienced hikers capable of tackling ascents of at least +1500 meters and distances of around 20 km on various types of terrain (dirt, rocky, stony, forested). Upon request, the Mont Blanc trail running tour program can be customized based on your level.

Best time

From mid-July to mid-September. From mid-June to mid-July, and from late August to mid-September, it’s still possible to encounter snow on the higher passes.

Tour type

Trail running tour with overnight stays in small hotels, self-guided with maps and GPS points. Luggage transport included.

  • An itinerary that crosses the valleys and passes around the Mont Blanc massif, constantly accompanied by Himalayan-style glaciers.
  • Panoramic alpine passes, straddling Italy, France, and Switzerland, connected by beautiful trails offering routes for all fitness levels.
  • Over 110 km and 6000 m of elevation gain to run or walk quickly around places that have made history in mountain climbing, with the option to shorten some stages using local transport.
  • Overnight stays in small mountain hotels to rest at the end of your trekking days.
  • Luggage transport service to run light on the trails around Mont Blanc.
  • Maps and GPS points for use on your phone to navigate independently and always find the right direction.
  • On request, end the tour with an optional glacier excursion on Mont Blanc, accompanied by one of our certified Alpine Guides.
  • On request, customize the Mont Blanc trail running tour combining other outdoor activities and tours, as well as overnight stays in charming hotels or mountain huts.
