Duration

Suitable for

Suitable for experienced hikers with no cardio-circulatory or respiratory issues, accustomed to 7-8 hours of hiking per day with elevation gains/losses of +/- 1400 m. The terrain includes mountain trails with earthy, rocky, and stony surfaces. Prior experience with the use of crampons is recommended. The program of the Gran Paradiso summit climb can be customized based on your fitness level.

Best time

From early June to late September. Also feasible in other months using the hut's bivouac.
