Ski touring/splitboarding raid to the summit of Gran Paradiso (4.061 m.) with expert Alpine Guides, to reach the only entirely Italian 4000mt peak. Overnight stay in a cozy mountain hut.

Suitable for experienced ski tourers able to cover the altitude gaps (800m. the first day / 1.300 m. the second). The ascent and descent don't have any particular technical difficulties, yet a good level of skiing is mandatory.

Ski tour with overnight stay in a mountain hut, accompanied by a UIAGM certified Apine Guide.
- Two days of ski mountaineering and/or splitboarding with a Verticalife alpine guide in the breathtaking scenery of the Gran Paradiso National Park.
- The ascent of the only 4,000-meter peak entirely within Italian territory.
- Experience the true sense of freedom that this Alpine giant offers, breathe the rarefied air of 4,000 meters, and gain deeper awareness of ski mountaineering on a glacier!
- Refresher course on the use of avalanche transceiver and glacier rope systems.
- Improve your skiing technique and environmental assessment skills with the guidance of our expert alpine guides.
- Overnight stay in a cozy mountain hut, where you can recharge and rest before the ascent to the Gran Paradiso summit.
Day 1
Meeting with your guide in Pont Valsavarenche and hike to the mountain hut
Day 2
Gran Paradiso summit climb and return to Pont Valsavarenche
Rifugio Vittorio Emanuele II or Rifugio Chabod - shared room or 4-6 beds room
- Certified English speaking Alpine Guide and their expenses (other languages available on request)
- 1 overnight stay in a mountain hut, dormitory accommodation
- Breakfasts and dinners in the mountain hut (beverages for dinner to be paid on spot)
- Crampons, harness, ice axe and safety kit (ARTVA, probe & shovel) rental
- Transfers to/from the starting location
- Meals not listed in the detailed program and beverages, except for tea and coffee for breakfast
- Personal clothing and equipment
